5 Nights 6 Days Dar/ Mikumi/ Zanzibar
Day 1: Arrive Dar es salaam, Transfer to Hotel with Dinner.
Dar es Salaam is the largest city and economic capital of Tanzania. Located in a quiet bay off the Indian Ocean coast, the city has developed into an economic importance to become a prosperous centre of the entire East African region. Seven kilometres north of the city, is Bongoyo Island Marine Reserve which offers good snorkelling and diving sites for those who want to explore the water. The reserve boasts of its beautiful beaches, secluded islands and many varieties of marine species.

Day2: After breakfast drive to Mikumi National Park with Lunch in Morogoro. Late afternoon arrives at lodge & relax. Dinner at lodge.
Located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania and only a few hours’ drive from Tanzania’s largest city. The park has a wide variety of wildlife that can be easy spotted and well acclimatized to game viewing.
Most visitors come to Mikumi National Park aiming to spot the ‘Big Five’ (cheetah, lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), and they are always not disappointed. Hippo pools provide close access to the mud-loving beasts, and bird-watching along the waterways is particularly rewarding. Mikumi National Park borders the Selous Game Reserve and Udzungwa National Park, and the three locations make a varied and pleasant safari circuit.

Day3: After early breakfast we go for full day game drive in the Mikumi National park with picnic lunch. Late evening after sunset back to lodge with dinner.

Day 4: After breakfast we drive to Dar es salaam & drop you at ferry terminal for boat to Zanzibar. Dinner at Stone town hotel.
The name Zanzibar is an Arabic word that is translated as ‘the coast of black people’. The Zanzibar archipelago is a series of islands on the Indian Ocean about 16-31 miles from the mainland Republic of Tanzania. It is a semi-autonomous region of the Tanzania. The island has the best beaches in the world – and this is not an exaggeration.
Zanzibar reflects the cultural mix of people that emerged from eras of trade relations with different countries. Africans, Arab, Indian, Persian and European influences have taken root in copious chapters of Zanzibar’s history. Zanzibar offers scenic and pristine beaches, which makes visitors to get comfier. There are so many beaches to choose from. The beaches are clean and exquisitely beautiful. You will enjoy the peaceful lagoons, go surfing, relax by the beach or explore the surroundings and you will surely love the perfect temperature of the water, refreshing and soothing.

Day 5: Full Day excursions at Prison Island, Spice Farms & Stone town tour with lunch. Late evening transfer to Beach Resort with Dinner.
Changuu Island also known as Prison Island lies about 30 min by boat from Stone Town. The island was formerly owned by an Arab and saw use for confinement of refractory slaves, but no prisoners were ever housed here instead the island became a quarantine station for yellow fever epidemics. There is a dedicated foundation on the island which looks after the tortoises’ welfare. This tour includes a visit to the historic Prison Island with its giant land tortoise. While on the island you will be able to observe and feed the tortoises, swim, sunbathe and snorkel.

Day 6: Relax at Beach & transfer to airport for flight back home.
A transfer will be organised after breakfast to drop you to the airport.
