City Tour- Half Day
The tour around Nairobi is one of our exciting packages. The tour, handled by experienced drivers and tour guides who are always at hand to assist with any given information, includes a visit to the City Market famous for its artifacts, Parliament Buildings and the Kenyatta Conference Centre, among other attractions. A visit to the National Museum, which is a major international centre of Homo Sapien will be ideal, not forgetting a visit to the Snake Park.
Nairobi National Park – Half Day
Nairobi National Park established in 1946, just a short drive from the city centre, is one of Kenya’s oldest national parks and comprises 46 square miles of pristine savannah. A large population of game dominate the plains, including the Big Five; its major attraction being prides of Lions that often appear at the entrance of Mbangathi Gorge. It consists of two animal orphanages, including Daphne Sheldrick’s Home for orphaned Elephants and Rhinos. This park, that borders Athi River to the south with its Hippo pools, is convenient for the business traveller.
Karen Blixen Museum – Half Day
A drive towards the Ngong Hills takes you through a mixture of small villages and modern residential areas to the Karen Blixen Museum and ultimately to the Giraffe Manor where the offspring of Daisy can be seen and fed at their beautiful home overlooking the Hills.Tea is served before you return to Nairobi.
Lake Nakuru- Full Day
A tour of Lake Nakuru situated in the legendary Great Rift Valley of East Africa, provides a rare spectacle of the world renowned Flamingoes, besides hundreds of other bird species. A custom-built Safari Cruiser will take you north-west, descending to the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Mt. Longonot as you take pictures of the scenic surrounding. You arrive at Lake Nakuru shortly before lunch, where a million greater and lesser Flamingoes transform the shores of the waters to a delicate pink hue. Lunch is at one of the lake lodges. After lunch, we head for Nairobi via Lake Naivasha.
Bomas of Kenya – Half Day
This is a cultural centre, a few minutes drive from the city centre with a unique rural setting within the metropolis. Here you can have an insight into the various cultures of the local people through the different traditional African dance routines performed. The dances depict daily occurrences in the lives of the various ethnic communities of Kenya. Prototype “bomas” or villages belonging to selected communities are also available. What an experience!
